He will work in the process analysis lab which is part of the wafer fabrication in Freising. Main techniques used are SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy), TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy), EDX (Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy), FIB (Focused Ion Beam). For sample preparation Plasma and Wet etching techniques are available.
