This role provides technical leadership in process development, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives.\nResponsibilities include:\nOwn and manage end-to-end SMT processes including solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering, SPI, AOI, and related inspection systems\nEstablish, maintain, and continuously improve process parameters, control limits, and operating windows\nLead yield improvement initiatives and defect reduction through structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, DOE, SPC, JMP)\nDrive new product introduction (NPI) readiness by providing input on stencil design, penalization, process flow, and manufacturability (DFM/DFA/FMEA/RCA)\nConduct process qualifications and validations to ensure robustness and repeatability\nMonitor and analyze manufacturing KPIs (FPY, DPPM, Cp/Cpk, scrap, rework) and implement corrective and preventive actions\nAct as the technical escalation point for SMT-related issues during production interruptions or quality excursions\nDevelop, maintain, and control documentation such as SOPs, Work Instructions, PFMEA, Control Plans, and technical reports\nProvide coaching and technical mentorship to junior engineers and technicians\nCollaborate closely with Quality, Production, Test, APTE, and Supply Chain teams to resolve cross-functional issues\nSupport customer quality concerns related to SMT processes and provide technical input for root cause and corrective actions\nDrive cost reduction initiatives through material optimization, waste reduction, and process efficiency improvements\nSupport qualification and evaluation of new materials, equipment, and suppliers\nParticipate in internal, customer, and external audits (ISO, IATF, customer audits) as subject matter expert for SMT processes\nContribute to technology roadmap planning by recommending new tools, equipment, and process innovations\n Minimum requirements:\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Engineering background\nMinimum 5 years of process engineering experiences or relevant experiences working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with SMT experiences\nPreferred qualifications:\nDemonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery\nDemonstrated ability to build
