This role combines customer engagement, system-level technical expertise and cross-functional leadership to identify market opportunities, shape competitive roadmaps, define differentiated products and lead product execution from concept through release.\nWhat makes this role unique:\nThe opportunity to influence product strategy and roadmap by turning real customer challenges into differentiated semiconductor products.\nDirect engagement with global customers and TI field teams across personal electronics, industrial, data center, automotive and communications equipment markets. \nEnd-to-end exposure to the semiconductor product lifecycle, from market research and customer insight through product definition, development, qualification and release.\nCross-functional leadership and decision-making by working closely with design, applications, marketing, test, validation, packaging teams. \nRGB LED Driver System Engineer’s responsibilities may include:\nCustomer Engagement: Proactively initiate and maintain technical engagements with global customers and TI field teams. Build trusted relationships, stay close to evolving customer needs and pain points, and gather first-hand market and system insights through direct customer interaction.\nRoadmap Influence: Shape competitive product roadmaps and partner with marketing and applications teams to prioritize opportunities that strengthen TI’s market leadership.\nProduct Definition: Translate customer and market insights into differentiated product concepts and IC definitions, while balancing customer value, technical feasibility, manufacturability, cost and schedule.\nCross-Functional Leadership: Lead technical alignment throughout product development when working with design and backend teams. Constructively challenge assumptions, identify technical gaps and drive cross-functional teams toward timely decisions and issue closure.\nPortfolio Promotion: Promote existing product portfolio by clearly presenting product differentiation, enabling sales and field applications teams, and supporting strategic customer opportunities to accelerate design-ins and design wins.\nTechnical Documentation: Create and maintain technical literature, including product specifications, datasheets etc.\n Minimum requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. \n3-5 years of experience in the development or application of analog and mixed-signal ICs.\nDemonstrated ability to proactively engage with customers, uncover their needs and pain points, and drive the resolution of customer technical problems\nExperience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions\nFundamental understanding of analog and mixed-signal technologies, digital control, communication interfaces and power design. \nWorking knowledge of the semiconductor product development lifecycle, including product definition, IC design, test, validation, qualification, production ramp and release. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.\nPreferred qualifications:\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results\nAbility to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally\nAbility to quickly ramp on new market, end equipment and technical niche. \nDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time
