This engineer will be expected to develop detailed product specifications, define system-level architectures, and provide cross-functional guidance to design, test, applications, and marketing teams to ensure flawless execution.\nResponsibilities May Include\nDeeply understand customer systems and end-equipment to identify technical challenges across the full analog signal chain (sensors, amplifiers, references, ADCs, and digital interfaces)\nAnalyze key end-equipment in datacenter, automotive and industrial markets to identify future trends and opportunities for performance improvement and differentiation\nDevelop compelling short- and long-term product roadmaps grounded in system-level insights, market trends, and customer engagement\nAuthor detailed product specifications (target specs, system block diagrams, competitive benchmarking) for next-generation precision ADC solutions\nAssess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers to balance performance, power, area, and cost\nDrive execution from initial concept through RTM, ensuring critical performance metrics and customer timelines are met\nServe as the technical expert for product ramp-up, supporting customers through design-in and volume production phases\nCollaborate with marketing and applications teams to develop high-quality technical collateral (application notes, reference designs, white papers) that accelerate product adoption\nRelentlessly pursue new design wins for both new and existing products through deep technical engagement with customers and field teams\nCreate and review technical documentation including datasheets, application notes, and system design guides\nBuild strong relationships with customers and field teams by identifying and solving real-world signal chain problems with TI silicon\nProvide strategic input on business direction and revenue planning to sustain and grow market share\n Minimum Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering\n5+ years of experience in systems engineering, applications engineering, or analog/mixed-signal IC design\nHands-on experience with analog signal chains, including ADCs, amplifiers, voltage references, or related components\nExperience developing differentiated product roadmaps tied to market and customer insights\nStrong understanding of analog and mixed-signal IC specifications and their system-level implications\nExperience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins through system-level solutions\nProven involvement in the product development lifecycle, from concept through volume production\nComfortable engaging in deep, in-depth technical discussions with systems engineers and customers\nPreferred Qualifications\nDemonstrated expertise in precision ADC architectures (SAR, Delta-Sigma, Pipeline) and their application in real-world signal chains\nExperience with signal chain system design - noise budgeting, dynamic range analysis, anti-aliasing filters, grounding/layout best practices\nFamiliarity with key application domains such as control systems, power measurement, data acquisition, or ADAS\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to model and simulate signal chain performance\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills -
