Love your job.\nAt TI, System Engineers work to identify ideal roadmap opportunities for a business and are responsible for defining new products and platforms based on market opportunity. To do this, they leverage strong technical knowledge of our existing portfolio, deep understanding of the technologies, standards and protocols within an industry or end equipment, and an ability to engage with customers and translate their requirements into technical specifications that will solve their problems. Systems engineers also partner closely with marketing and applications engineers, as well as design teams, to ensure our roadmap is both meeting customer and market requirements and is technically optimized and manufacturable at a price and cost point that makes sense for the business.\nThe Isolated Converters (ISC) Product Line develops Isolated voltage and current sensing chips/IC’s for different high voltage applications like Automotive Electric Vehicles, Industrial motor drives, Robotics, Aerospace / Defense, Energy Infrastructure and high voltage data centers. As a System Engineer, you will be part of the global ISC team and helping the team to define next generation isolated sensing products.\nResponsibilities may include:\nResearch and create new product definitions in the area of isolated voltage / current sensing, including developing business case proposals, product strategies and taking products to production release\nAnalyze key end-equipment in Automotive Electric Vehicles, Industrial motor drives, Robotics, Aerospace / Defense, Energy Infrastructure and high voltage data centers from isolated voltage and current sensing point of view to identify future trends, performance improvements and adding value to these systems.\nAssess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design team and customers\nBe the technical expert, responsible for product ramp up for the customer\nSilicon system evaluation (HW, SW if needed) and related documentation\nApplication support for newly introduced and existing products\nSupport and train central systems engineering and sales organizations on new/existing products\nRelentlessly drive new design wins for new and existing products\nBring quick resolution to customer problems by interfacing across different functional groups such as design, product, test, packaging, marketing and sales\nCreate technical literature such as datasheets, application notes and presentations\nBuild relationships with customers/field teams by closely interacting with them to identify and solve system problems with TI chips/IC’s\nContribute to the short and long term product strategy and roadmap\n Minimum requirements:\nBachelor's / Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering\n3+ years of relevant industry experience\nStrong understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensors, etc.), circuit simulation, semiconductor products and electronic system design\nStrong understanding of Isolated AC-DC converters and Isolated DC-DC converters topologies and digital control loops\nStrong customer facing skills\nFamiliarity with lab equipment\nHands on experience with Schematics, PCB layout and electrical simulation tools\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience in the field of isolated voltage and current sensing and mitigating EMI/EMC issues\nPrior experience in semiconductor product definition \nAbility to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally\nAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processes\nDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project
