Focus is on engaging with top tier customers in the AI sector early in their design cycles, supporting them with simulations, calculations, analysis of the overall system. This analysis is done in coordination with the product development engineers to ensure TI is the leading vendor for AI power.\nRole is located in Austin, next to some of our biggest customers to allow for easy face-to-face engagement.\nExpectations for the role include:\nOwning design of large system solutions of controller + power stage / power module / power block\nRunning analysis of transient performance, protections, and thermals for theoretical designs\nTool development for making the process efficient interally and at customers\nCoordinating deep dives and design reviews internally and with customers\nAssisting applications team in first board bring-ups\nDeveloping technical customer relationships to keep our NPDE efforts aligned with their goals\n Minimum requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field\n5+ years of relevant experience\nPreferred qualifications:\nStrong understanding of power electronics\nExperience developing or working with customers developing power solutions\nStrong customer facing skills\nFamiliarity with lab equipment\nSystem level circuit modeling (SIMPLIS, SPICE, etc)\nAbility to travel to India\nBackground in multiphase power\nAbility to establish strong relationships with key customer technologists critical to success, both internally and externally\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processes\nDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project
