This is a unique opportunity to be on the front lines of professional baseball, working directly with players, coaches, and player development staff to integrate cutting-edge data and technology into daily training and competition.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:\nOperate all technology for practice and games including Trackman, Edgertronic, Sony Cybershot and BATS.\nCapture game video and manage upload process.\nManage data and collection process and assist with interpretation to coaches and players.\nCollaborate with coaching staff and player development staff to monitor player goals and player progress.\nConduct research and analysis, both at the request of staff and independently.\nCommunicate research in a simple and concise manner to Minor League coaches, players, and Player Development staff.\nOrganize and distribute advance scouting materials to staff.\nSupport field staff and players with coach education and various administration tasks.\nSupport field staff by throwing batting practice, hitting fungoes, and aiding with other on-field tasks.\nTroubleshoot video/technology related issues at your affiliate.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Office\nDemonstrated passion and understanding for biomechanics, pitching or hitting analysis or sports science\nAbility to work seamlessly in teams\nWorking knowledge of advanced baseball statistics and publicly available research\nWillingness to learn\nAvailable to work long hours including nights, weekends and holidays\nAbility to travel 70% of the job\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
