This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical equipment, lighting systems, controls, and power distribution systems to ensure a safe, reliable, and first-class environment for fans, staff, and events. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced entertainment and sports venue environment.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:\nPlan and determine appropriate work procedures by assessing repair needs, identifying required replacement materials, and developing effective solutions to electrical issues.\n\nAnalyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems.\n\nReceives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs, installation, and electrical inspection work to be performed.\n\nPerforms work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment. Startsup and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.\n\nServices electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices.\n\nInstalls, repairs, and maintains communication cables, power distribution cables and then splicing pieces as required.\n\nDetermines need for, analyzes, and makes necessary running adjustments, repairs, and overhauls.\n\nNotifies supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment noted and corrective action taken.\n\nPerform maintenance and repair on 277/480V lighting systems.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS:\nValid Journeyman’s License required.\n\nCommercial experience required.\n\nNFPA 70E trained.\n\nAbility to climb in overhead structures with no fear of heights.\n\nHigh degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required.
