We take pride in a strong manufacturing culture, a commitment to quality, and an environment where employees can help create products used in critical, real-world applications.\nIf you’re looking to grow your career with a company that’s forward-thinking, hands-on, and deeply committed to excellence, TCI is the place to build your future.\nSummary - Job Responsibilities - Activities:\nCompletes extrusion equipment set-ups, start-ups, change-overs and shut-downs, as required by standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules\nPerforms process adjustments as needed to ensure that the product meets dimensional tolerances and visual quality criteria\nPerforms on-line product quality inspections, identifies quality issues, and troubleshoots film extrusion process as necessary\nMaintains production tooling, dies and other extrusion equipment to ensure best operational condition of the equipment, performs cleaning and light preventive maintenance tasks\nFills out process records and daily production logs/reports as required\nReports non-conformances and assists Production Management and Process Engineering with technical issues\nMentors, supports and assists other extrusion operators\nFollows plant safety procedures and guidelines; informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately; wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.\nAble to document the overall production process including potential defects\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
