You keep the judgment about what is worth making and what is good\n\nRound-trip the work between the canvas and prototypes people can use, so the intent survives both\n\nYou Will Be a Match If\nYou design how a product works. Your best work is flows, structure, interaction, and whether a person understands it\n\nYou hold a high bar for what customers actually experience\n\nYou have strong judgment. You can tell a considered experience from an average one, and you will throw the average one out\n\nYou are comfortable with ambiguity\n\nYou use AI as part of how you design, and the decision stays yours\n\nYou write clearly. A few sentences can carry the decision, the constraint, and the tradeoff\n\nHow the Team Operates\nDesign solves the problem with the team. It does not arrive after the direction is set\n\nThe bar is elegance, simplicity, and an experience that feels fluid\n\nWe critique the thing a customer would feel: clarity & coherence\n\nAI multiplies creative vision. The quality bar is what a customer feels\n\nYou Might Be a Good Fit If\n5+ years of experience designing consumer products\n\nA portfolio that shows how an experience flows: structure, sequence, and the simplest solution to a hard problem\n\nYou use AI to multiply your creative vision, you keep the judgment, and you can round-trip between the canvas and a prototype\n\nBonus: You have shipped products or experiences in your spare time\n\nCompensation\nThe expected base salary range for this role is:\nCanada (Waterloo, ON): CAD $156,800 - $224,000\nUnited States (San Francisco / Bay Area): USD $209,200 - $298,800\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
