Visit TextronSystems.com & Lycoming.com to read more about who we are and the products we make!\nAbout This Role\nThe Uncrewed Air and Land Systems team in Hunt Valley is seeking a motivated, self-driven, and organized Project Engineer to join our growing group, working on innovative products within the air and ground robotics domains.\nThis interdisciplinary role involves supporting the full life cycle development of our products, including new product development, product upgrades, payload design, integration and test, and fielding solutions for military and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, and working successfully within a collaborative team environment. A strong desire to take ownership of design efforts to ensure the integration of new technology into our vehicles is essential.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate closely with Program Management to tightly control program schedule and budget\nResolve schedule, resource, and technical conflicts\nNavigate and lead multidiscipline teams through unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions\nCollaborate with functional managers to organize and delegate key tasks\nAct as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.\nChair (or delegate) responsibilities to execute change control boards for your project /product\nAssess risk and approve Test Readiness Reviews\nDevelop discretionary funding plans and requests outlining program needs for successful execution\nProvide recommendations to senior management regarding critical risk acceptance\nDevelop proposals (cost and technical) and basis of estimates for new business opportunities\nManage and control system configurations and bills of materials\nDevelopment and delivery of program technical CDRLs\nAbility to travel up to 15%\nActive Secret Clearance preferred; Secret Clearance eligibility required.\nWho We Are\nTextron Systems is part of Textron, a $14 billion, multi-industry company employing 35,000 talented makers, thinkers, creators and doers worldwide.
