# Sr. Quality Engineer

Position Title: Sr. Quality Engineer Business Name: Lycoming Engines Function: Quality Reports to: Manager Internal Quality Grade: Job Code: SUMMARY The Sr. Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, implement quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement. This role will develop, implement, and maintain protocols and procedures to ensure products are manufactured and assembled to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with Six Sigma methodologies, AS9100 standards, and FAA regulatory requirements. A deep understanding of advanced quality tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Value Stream Mapping is essential. RESPONSIBILITIES Develops, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and FAA regulatory requirements. Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improve product quality. Performs internal audits and supports third party audits (ex. AS9100) to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
