Utilization of CAD systems for the design, detail, and checking of simple to intermediate level jigs, fixtures, gauges, tools, and simple machines. Creation and maintenance of simple to intermediate level CNC programs for multiple axis machine tools including writing, editing, troubleshooting, and correcting tooling/programming problems. Tool designer owns process and program until proven out. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner. Perform assigned work to specific quality and production standards. Maintain equipment, tools, and work area in a clean professional condition. Prepare or maintain all documentation necessary for the job classification.
