Licence provided.\n About Tezzro\nAt Tezzro, we're building Türkiye's first AI-powered Autonomous Retail OS - creating a truly checkout-free shopping experience.\nOur platform is as much hardware as software. AI systems, embedded electronics and precision-engineered mechanical hardware have to work as one product, installed in real commercial spaces and handled by the public every day.\nWe are now hiring the senior engineer who will lead the mechanical engineering of that platform.\nAbout the role\nYou will be our lead engineer for mechanical design. Not a pair of hands on someone else's drawings - the engineer whose judgement decides how our hardware is built.\nYou turn requirements into designs. Functional and product requirements arrive as intent and constraints. You translate them into practical, efficient, manufacturable mechanical solutions.\n\nYou see your design through from concept to production. Architecture, detailed design, analysis, drawings, supplier selection, first parts, and the revisions that come out of real testing - you stay with it to the end.\nYou work shoulder to shoulder with hardware. Our hardware design engineer develops the custom PCBs and electronics that live inside your structures. You'll design those integrations together - enclosure envelopes, board mounting, display and connector interfaces, cable routing, thermal paths, and sealing where electronics meet the outside world. This is a genuine two-way collaboration: your mechanical constraints will change their board layout, and their electrical constraints will change your geometry.\nYou set the standard. Tooling, processes, documentation practice, manufacturing partners, and how mechanical work gets done here - those are yours to define.\nThe work is hands-on and it moves fast. You design it, you document it, you get it made, and you hold the finished part in your hands weeks later - not quarters later.\nWhat you'll do\nDevelop complete mechanical designs - architecture through detail - for enclosures, structures, mechanisms and assemblies.\nDesign precision sheet metal a workshop builds right the first time - accurate flat patterns, bend allowances, forming and weld details, realistic tolerances.\nTolerance the design so it assembles - stack-ups on the dimensions that matter, fits, clearance and interference studies, and datums a workshop can measure from.\nProduce production-grade documentation - 2D drawing packs with GD&T and tolerances, BOMs with real sources, assembly and integration guides.\nDesign sealed enclosures that keep moisture and heat where they belong - gasketing, sealed interfaces, thermal management.\nDesign user-facing housings and surfaces to a consumer-product standard - flush, smooth, easy to clean, no exposed fasteners, safe edges, premium feel.\nLead electro-mechanical integration with our hardware engineer - PCB envelopes and mounting, displays, connectors, harness routing, strain relief, sealed pass-throughs.\nRun the structural analysis that de-risks the design - stress, deflection and stiffness.\nOwn the thermal problem - heat-transfer paths, thermal bridging through fasteners and structure, insulation and thermal-break strategy, and the material and geometry choices that keep temperature-sensitive components comfortably inside their limits.\nValidate on real hardware - design the test, take the measurements, compare them against your model, and feed the difference back into the design.\nSelect manufacturing processes deliberately - sheet metal, machining, additive, moulding - and stand behind the cost and lead-time consequences.\nDesign 3D-printable parts for polymer and metal additive manufacturing, including HP MJF, and know when printing beats machining.\nRun our manufacturing partnerships - laser cutting and bending, machining, welding, 3D printing, coating and paint. DFM review before release, and inspection of what comes back.\nDrive prototype build, assembly and test on-site, hands on the parts, and close the loop from test result back into design.\nDevelop alternative solutions when production or assembly reality bites, and improve the existing design base as you go.\nWhat you bring\n6+ years of hands-on mechanical design, with products you took to production.\nOnshape or SolidWorks - Creo a plus. Licence provided.\nDeep sheet metal - flat patterns, K-factor, bend relief, hole-to-bend distances, weld distortion, flatness after forming.\nTolerance analysis you can defend - stack-ups, fits, and a reason behind every number on your drawing.\nGD&T - datums, feature control frames, and drawings a shop can inspect against.\nDrawing packs you have personally released to a manufacturer.\nFastening and joining judgement - inserts, weld nuts, rivet and clinch nuts, bonding.\nSealed enclosure and IP-rating design.\nElectro-mechanical integration - PCBs, displays, connectors, harnesses.\nDFM and DFA instincts, and a real feel for what things cost.\nJudgement on when a hand calculation is enough, when a simulation earns its time, and when only a physical test settles it.\nA direct communicator who raises risk early and will disagree with a co-founder.\nComfortable making progress before the requirement is fully defined.\nTechnical English - able to read datasheets, standards and drawings.\nLegal right to work in Türkiye. We cannot sponsor permits.\nAlso valuable\nNot required on day one - but these matter more to us with every month, as our products move from prototype into volume. If you have them, say so; if you want to build them here, that's a conversation we're glad to have.\nStructural FEA for stress, deflection and stiffness.\nThermal simulation, or dedicated thermal and CFD tools alongside CAD-integrated simulation.\nFormal design validation - V&V plans, EVT/DVT/PVT phases, bench and environmental testing, first-article inspection, findings closed back into revisions.\nInjection mould and tooling design - part design for moulding, working with toolmakers, commissioning and reading mould-flow simulation.\nConsumer-product, appliance or commercial-equipment design experience.\nDesign for cleanability and frequent or aggressive cleaning.\nHigher-volume processes beyond moulding - stamping, die casting, extrusion.\nExisting relationships with Istanbul or Kocaeli workshops.\nTurkish, or another language shared with local suppliers.\nWhat we offer\nTechnical leadership of the mechanical discipline - you make the design decisions on a core part of the product, and your work is visible across the company and in front of customers.\nA small, senior, cross-functional team. Mechanical, hardware, firmware and product decisions are made in the same room, by the people who live with them. No layers, no handoffs into a void.\nReal influence over the product, not just the parts. Your constraints will shape what we build.\nThe tools to do it properly - proper CAD, in-house 3D printing, prototyping budget, test equipment, and time to validate before committing to tooling.\nThe path to Mechanical Engineering Lead as the product range and the team grow.\nCompetitive salary and a package matched to your experience.\nAn international team building something that doesn't exist yet, in a market that's about to change.\nHow we hire\nShort, respectful of your time, and technical from the first conversation.\nIntro call with the hiring manager - the role, the product, your background.\nPortfolio and technical deep-dive - we go through your actual designs and drawings and talk about the decisions behind them.Live design session - a real problem, worked through together on paper or in\n\nyour CAD. No take-home homework.\nMutual NDA and a paid trial project at your normal rate. You get the real product context, we get to work together for a few days, and both sides find out what a working week actually feels like. You're paid for it whatever we decide.\nOffer.\nStandard terms, stated up front so there are no surprises: this is a permanent employment role, and designs, drawings and inventions created for Tezzro are Tezzro's intellectual property, as is normal for an in-house engineering position. You'll be credited internally and can absolutely talk about the class of problems you solved - we just can't have our product designs registered or reused elsewhere.\nApply\nPlease apply through this post.\nIf you can attach one 2D drawing you personally released to a manufacturer, do - redact anything confidential. It is the fastest way to reach us, and applications with a drawing go to the front of the queue. What interests us isn't renders, it's the engineering: a drawing set you released, a tolerance problem you solved, a part you redesigned to halve its cost. Bring one thing you're proud of and be ready to talk about why it's built the way it is.","description_format":"text","description_chars":8922,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":6,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"Turkish","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Turkey","iso":"TR","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-13T05:08:01Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":34,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.618,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":40,"expected_fill_days":31,"reasons":["conf:0","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-13T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/tezzro-senior-mechanical-design-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/tezzro-senior-mechanical-design-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-13T22:21:00Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":34100,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-14T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":4417046},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=4417046"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Ftezzro-senior-mechanical-design-engineer"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Ftezzro-senior-mechanical-design-engineer"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Ftezzro-senior-mechanical-design-engineer"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/tezzro-senior-mechanical-design-engineer\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Ftezzro-senior-mechanical-design-engineer"}]}
