The property is home to Storehouse Docklands and offers conference and event facilities.\nAbout the Role\nWe are currently recruiting a welcoming and passionate hospitality professional to join our Reception team as an Executive Assistant Hotel Manager at Vibe Hotel Melbourne Docklands\nYou'll work alongside the Hotel Manager to lead hotel operations, inspire high-performing teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences across every department.\nThrough collaborative leadership, commercial thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement, you'll help shape the culture, performance and long-term success of the hotel.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the Hotel Manager in leading the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the hotel.\nProvide leadership across operational departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences and commercial outcomes.\nCoach, mentor and develop leaders and team members to build capability and performance.\nMonitor operational performance and implement initiatives that improve service quality, efficiency and profitability.\nBuild strong relationships with guests, employees and key stakeholders to foster a positive hotel culture.\nSupport budgeting, financial performance and operational planning activities.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and brand standards.\nChampion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and exceptional hospitality across the hotel.\nLead adoption of systems and digital tools that improve guest service and operational efficiency.\nSkills & Experience\nPassion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and customer service.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProfessional presentation and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to remain calm, organised and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.\nConfidence using hotel systems and handling guest information responsibly.\nAbility to collaborate across departments and share information effectively.\nStrong attention to detail and organisational skills.\nAbility to build positive relationships with guests, colleagues and stakeholders.\nSignificant leadership experience within hotel operations or hospitality management.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.\nStrong commercial, strategic and stakeholder management capability.\nProven ability to influence culture, lead change and deliver business outcomes.\nStrong cross-department influence and relationship-building capability.\nAbility to develop people and create clear performance expectations.\nQualifications, Certifications & Licenses\nRelevant qualification in Hospitality, Tourism or Business is advantageous.\nCurrent Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (where required).\nDegree in Hospitality Management, Business or a related discipline (preferred).\nExecutive leadership or professional management development programs are advantageous.\nThe Benefits\nAt TFE Hotels, we believe work should feel good for our guests and for our people.
