If you’re authentic, flexible, and talented, you’ll find more than you expected, and we’ll support you every step of the way. \nAbout the role\nAs Maintenance Supervisor at Adina Hotel Heritage Christchurch, You demonstrates enthusiasm and flair for providing exemplary guest service by embracing the “Go MAD” philosophy. Responsible for managing all processes within the maintenance and engineering department and directly responsible for the implementation of all preventative maintenance scheduling and planning of expenditure as determined and outlined. \nTo be successful in this role you should :\nRespond and attend to guest repair requests and welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests.\nUnderstand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.\nCommunicate with different types of people to comprehend what they want and to provide them with information and assistance.\nCheck for new maintenance requests from the PMS (Property Management System) and update remarks once the task is completed.\nUpdate the maintenance work order form / Job card and file them. \nAbility to interpret readings from meters & gauges and other measuring units.\nAbility to work under pressure situations and exercise good judgment.\nPerform maintenance activities in hotel public areas like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, plumbing, and electrical equipment, and cosmetic items. \nPerform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties and able to work independently\nTo operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.\nTo be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.\nAbel to repair walls, maintain a swimming pool, garden areas, plant rooms, Ac filtration, check and maintain function rooms, dealing with sub-contractors. If worked on the Plumbing side that is an added advantage.\nThe role is sometimes on call.\nWho can APPLY-\n Minimum 1-2 yrs of experience.
