The Frame Making Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing the team, monitoring productivity, maintaining manufacturing standards, and ensuring frames are produced according to specifications to support overall production schedules and customer requirements.\n Supervise and coordinate all frame making activities to ensure daily production targets are achieved.\n\nLead, motivate, and manage the frame making team to maintain high levels of productivity and performance.\n\nEnsure furniture frames are manufactured according to approved specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.\n\nMonitor workflow, allocate resources, and address production bottlenecks to optimize efficiency.\n\nConduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions where required.\n\nEnsure adherence to health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the department.\n\nManage attendance, discipline, performance, and training of team members.\n\nMonitor material usage and minimize waste to support cost-effective manufacturing.\n\nLiaise with Production Planning, Upholstery, Assembly, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.\n\nEnsure machinery, tools, and equipment are used correctly and maintained in good working condition.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance.\n\nMaintain accurate production records and provide regular feedback on departmental performance.\n\nWillingness to work overtime, shifts, and weekends when required.\n\n Grade 10\n\nExperience:\n3-5 years' experience in furniture manufacturing, frame assembly, or a related production environment.\n\nMinimum 2 years' supervisory or team leader experience.\n\nExperience managing production outputs, quality standards, and productivity targets.\n\nExperience in employee supervision, coaching, and performance management.\n\nSkills:\nSound knowledge of furniture assembly processes, timber components, and manufacturing techniques.\n\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production schedules.\n\nStrong understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.\n\nGood problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\nComputer literacy (Microsoft Office advantageous).\n\nBehaviours:\nStrong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.\n\nResults-driven with a focus on productivity, quality, and achieving production targets.\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to manage performance, resolve conflict, and promote accountability.\n\nSafety-conscious with a commitment to compliance and best manufacturing practices.\n\nAdaptable
