Our expertise includes full-service capabilities, resourcing, and Functional Service (FSP) solutions.\nWe are seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist / Clinical Development Consultant to support an innovative biotechnology company advancing a novel programme in depression. This is a part time freelance assignment.\nWe are open to flexibility on the FTE split for the right profile.\nKey responsibilities\nCurrent phase:\nContribute to the scientific strategy for the drug development programme.\n\nDesign and develop clinical study protocols and synopses.\n\nProvide scientific input to study design, endpoints and development planning.\n\nThe role is expected to expand to include:\nInterpreting and analysing clinical study data together with statisticians and physicians.\n\nWriting and reviewing clinical study documentation.\n\nCollaborating with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, biometrics and external researchers.\n\nPresenting study results internally and externally.\n\nEnsuring studies meet scientific, regulatory and ethical requirements.\n\nQualifications\nAdvanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Neuroscience or a related discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent preferred).\n\nHands on clinical development experience in depression is a requirement for this assignment.
