Every site is run to the same operating principles, standards and disciplines regardless of ownership.\nThe role works through the venue management teams. Site teams prepare the schedules, orders, forecasts, reports and plans; the Senior Operations Manager reviews, challenges and approves them, and is accountable for the result. Alongside this, the role is expected to grow revenue: to find, trial and roll out new income streams and improve trading performance across the portfolio.\nThe role reports to the Operations Director, who owns portfolio strategy, commercial terms, client agreements and the overall P&L. The Senior Operations Manager delivers against the agreed plan, escalates commercial, contractual and client matters, and works within delegated authority. Regular travel between venue and project locations is required, with regional and international travel as needed.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n1.Revenue Generation and Commercial Creativity\nDeliver the revenue targets for the assigned sites, covering sales, covers, average spend and revenue mix.\nGenerate and bring forward commercial ideas: new formats, menus, dayparts, offers, events, partnerships and activations that create measurable incremental revenue.\nIdentify new income streams beyond core trade, such as events and private hire, catering, delivery and off-premise and retail, and build the case for them.\nReview and challenge site proposals on menu engineering and pricing, and recommend changes to the Operations Director for approval.\nRun a test-and-learn approach: pilot ideas at one site, measure them against a baseline, and roll out what works once approved.\nImprove capacity utilisation and yield across trading periods, targeting the weak dayparts and days as well as the strong ones.\nTrack competitor activity and market trends, and translate them into practical commercial action.\n2.Operations Management\nLead the day-to-day operation of every site in the portfolio, holding General Managers and Ops Managers accountable for performance, standards and compliance at their venue. The same operating principles apply to owned and client sites alike.\nEnsure each site operates to its approved budget, labour model, menu and pricing structure and marketing plan, and that the trading calendar is followed.\nReview and approve the operating plans, labour schedules, ordering and stock counts prepared by the venue teams, and challenge anything that does not stand up.\nRun the performance rhythm across the portfolio: weekly trading review by site, monthly business review, and input to the quarterly portfolio review.\nIdentify underperforming sites early, agree a written recovery plan with named owners and deadlines, and follow it through to closure.\nVerify consistent execution of recipes, portioning, cooking and service standards through scheduled and unannounced site checks.\nOversee goods receiving, storage and stock control at every site, including expiry, spoilage and wastage controls.\nDeploy people and equipment across locations, and escalate resource conflicts that cannot be resolved at site level.\n3.Financial Control\nDeliver the agreed budget and P&L targets for the assigned sites, and know actual performance against budget for sales and costs at all times.\nReview the site budgets and forecasts prepared by venue teams, challenge the assumptions, and submit them to the Operations Director and Finance.\nControl food, beverage and labour cost against agreed targets, including stock, wastage, recipe costing and yield.\nReview labour schedules against forecast business levels to confirm that positions are covered and labour cost objectives are met.\nEnsure cash and other receipts are handled and reconciled in line with company procedure at every site.\nApprove operating expenditure within delegated authority, and refer anything above that threshold to the Operations Director with a recommendation.\nAct on variances promptly and report the corrective action taken.\n4.Review and Reporting\nReview F&B operator and pod performance on a weekly and monthly basis.\nReview the monthly P&L, audit and performance packs prepared by each site, and present the consolidated position to the Operations Director.\nCommission monthly mystery shopper audits, quality audits and service period reports, and act on the findings.\nAgree a monthly action plan with each site covering corrective actions, revenue initiatives and areas of improvement, and track it to completion.\nHold weekly operational meetings with site teams and stakeholders, and ensure decisions and actions are recorded.\n5.Client and Site Stakeholder Support\nAct as the day-to-day operational point of contact for venue owners, clients, landlords, partners and third-party F&B operators.\nUnderstand the operational obligations set out in the agreement governing each site, including reporting requirements, standards and approval thresholds, and work within them.\nReview and sign off the client operational reporting prepared by the venue teams before it is issued, to the required standard and timetable.\nEscalate to the Operations Director, promptly and in writing, any client decision, approval or funding delay that puts the operating plan, a revenue target or a contractual obligation at risk.\nIdentify additional services and scope changes on site, and refer them to the Operations Director for pricing and approval before any work is delivered.\nMonitor the performance of third-party F&B operators against their agreements and report shortfalls.\n6.F&B Ops Consultancy Support\nSupport the delivery of F&B consultancy projects in line with the client scope of work, project plan and timeline.\nProvide operational input to feasibility work, including CAPEX and OPEX assumptions, and flag anything that is not operationally deliverable.\nReview and contribute to the project outputs prepared by the team, which typically include gap analysis against brand standards and sequence of service, site visit and interview findings, mystery dining results, KPI assessment, SWOT and initial operational and revenue recommendations.\nSupport a structured handover between the consultancy team and the operating team wherever a project transitions into TGP management.\n7.Standards, Brand and Guest Experience\nEnsure the TGP Operations Manual, policies and procedures are applied consistently at every site, and that manuals, checklists and audit records are kept current.\nDo not change any policy, standard or specification of operation without prior approval from the Operations Director. Where a change is approved, take full responsibility for its implementation and outcome.\nPropose improvements and commercial innovations through the agreed approval route, so that new ideas are trialled without compromising brand or safety standards.\nEnsure guests receive responsive, friendly and courteous service to the standards set for all indoor and outdoor areas, and that food and beverage quality meets the SOP standards.\nOversee the guest feedback framework covering review platforms, social media and complaint resolution, and ensure responses are timely and consistent.\nUse the guest database commercially to drive repeat visits, loyalty and direct bookings, and achieve the guest feedback score targets set annually for each site.\nReview KPIs, guest feedback and market trends on a rolling basis, recommend changes to the brand and cuisine mix, and keep a live pipeline of brands for future sites.\nMaintain crowd management and circulation standards across all pods and food hall areas.\n8.Health & Safety, Compliance and Maintenance\nEnsure the H&S manual and SOPs are followed by all F&B operators across every site.\nReview the monthly H&S audit reports produced with the Hygiene Manager, coordinate third-party audits, and close out the findings.\nEnsure every site holds and maintains the licences, registrations and approvals required to trade, and that internal audits are completed ahead of external inspection.\nEnsure compliance with food safety requirements, local labour law, workforce nationalisation requirements and working hours obligations at site level.\nMaintain the F&B operational risk register on behalf of the Operations Director, and ensure incidents are reported, investigated and closed out with lessons applied across all sites.\nEnsure deep cleaning schedules and preventive maintenance programmes are completed to the calendar, and that equipment is repaired within an acceptable budget.\nProtect asset condition and value across the portfolio, particularly kitchen equipment, and report deterioration promptly.\n9.People Leadership\nLead, coach and develop the venue management teams, and set clear objectives and performance expectations.\nMonitor and evaluate performance, provide guidance and support, and address underperformance promptly.\nSupport the recruitment, selection, onboarding, training and development of team members with People and Culture.\nProvide workforce and resourcing input for the portfolio, including nationalisation commitments and the mobilisation of new sites.\nCreate an environment in which the teams bring commercial ideas forward, and recognise those that deliver results.\n10.Openings and Site Presence\nProvide operational and commercial input to concept, design, kitchen and back of house planning before decisions are finalised.\nReview and sign off operational readiness for new openings and for sites transferring into TGP management, covering recruitment, training, licensing, systems, supply chain, opening stock and the soft opening plan.\nTake handover from the project team at the agreed readiness gate, with a documented snag and risk position.\nLead post-opening stabilisation, drive the venue to its trading targets, and complete a lessons learned review that informs the next opening.\nTravel regularly between venue and project locations, maintain a published site visit schedule, and report against a consistent site visit format.\nExercise portfolio oversight in person on site, and not through reporting alone.\nRequirements\nRequired Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:\nCommercial creativity: a track record of generating ideas that turned into revenue.\nStrong revenue and margin instincts, including menu engineering, pricing, promotions and yield management.\nAbility to read, interrogate and challenge financial reports, including P&L, cost control and labour reports.\nStrong leadership ability, with the capacity to motivate and develop teams across multiple locations.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues, employees, clients and external stakeholders.\nSound business acumen, problem solving and decision making under pressure.\nUnderstanding of client agreements and operating obligations, and the judgement to know what must be escalated.\nMulti-site planning, prioritisation and time management.\nKnowledge of food and beverage products, brand cuisine and service standards, and restaurant marketing and promotions.\nEPOS and hospitality systems, together with productivity and financial software.\nRecruitment, training, coaching, development and disciplinary ability, and working knowledge of labour law in the markets of operation.\nAttention to detail, high standards, and the ability to work under pressure and travel frequently.\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nA Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management, culinary arts, business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nFluent written and spoken English. A second language relevant to the market of operation is an advantage.\nEligible to work in the market of appointment and able to travel regularly to venue and project locations.\n Work Experience\nA minimum of 7 years in the food...","description_format":"text","description_chars":12952,"description_truncated":true,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Catering & Food Services","Management Consulting"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-20T11:31:52Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":49,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.813,"p_room":0.6,"age_days":42,"expected_fill_days":60,"reasons":["conf:3","win:late","crowd:attention"],"computed_at":"2026-11-02T06:13:15Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/tgp-international-senior-operations-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/tgp-international-senior-operations-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-02T22:13:40Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":31372,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-03T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":6228},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=6228"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Ftgp-international-senior-operations-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Ftgp-international-senior-operations-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Ftgp-international-senior-operations-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/tgp-international-senior-operations-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Ftgp-international-senior-operations-manager"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":1075769}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"tgpinternational.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":1075769},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
