Cybersecurity Product Engineering Team Leader

Location: Tubize #ON-SITE

Your Mission:

• Manage and mentor the team, fostering collaboration, professional growth and performance improvement through regular check-ins, while ensuring optimal team capacity and sourcing to sustain business growth

• Oversee the definition, implementation, and validationof hardware/software security measures across the full product lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence to Thales’ engineering standardsand cybersecurity best practices(e.g., threat modeling, cryptography, post-quantum algorithms).

• Uphold cybersecurity engineering governancein line with Thales’ processes, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

• Partner with engineering disciplines(hardware/software teams) to integrate security measures seamlessly into product development.

• Promote transparent communicationand alignment on shared goals with stakeholders.

• Apply expertise in threat modeling, embedded systems security, and applicative securityto mitigate risks proactively.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’sin Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related STEM field with 8+ yearsof relevant experience; ORMaster’swith 6+ yearsin cybersecurity/engineering leadership.

• Proven experience leading engineering teamsin complex cybersecurity, critical systems, or defense programs.

• Hands-on expertise in threat modeling, hardware/software security measures, and cryptography(including post-quantum algorithms).

• Collaborative mindsetwith a track record of fostering cross-disciplinary team growthand psychological safety.

• Strong English proficiency(written/verbal); ability to align technical teams and stakeholders on shared objectives.
