From banking and telecommunications to government services, Thales continues to provide solutions in technological advancements that bolster national security and enhance local defence capabilities.Summary of the Role:\nYou will be working under the Finance department and will be responsible for the delivery of all activities relating to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General accounting.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerform month- end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.\nAccounts Payable: validate vendor invoices and staff claims, approval, receiving and completes payment.\nAccounts Receivable: monthly invoicing, monitors ageing and issuance of necessary official receipts/acknowledgment receipts.\nMonthly balance sheet preparation and analysis.\nValidates withholding tax report, and PEZA report for filing.\nInvolve in both external and internal audit of the company.\nCompiling and preparing routine reports and summaries.\nImplement proper controls to safeguard company assets and ensures data accuracy.\nQualifications:\nDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent\nMust have 1- 2 years relevant experience.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nAbility to work independently on assigned duties.\nDemonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.\nAt Thales, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
