The job will also include developing of simulation models for Satellite Real Time Environment (RTE) based on C/C++ compliant to ESA ECSS SMP standard.\nThe proposed job will imply the following duties:\nReal/No-Real Time test environment for Hardware In the Loop HIL Testing)\n\nReal Time Environment (RTE) Simulation modeling based on C/C++ compliant to ECSS SMP standard;\n\nMatlab/Simulink programming;\n\nSupport to HW units specification and technical management of related procurement;\n\nTo study/understand the design provided by AOCS/DHC Design Authority in order to develop a verification and testing approach;\n\nTo develop and write test sequences for AOCS, DHC, FDIR aspects;\n\nAvionics V&V activity at Avionic Test Bench (ATB) level;\n\nThe working site is Rome, but it might be required working in other locations for short mid-term periods.\nShort periods of 24h shift working across the full week might be required upon specific program needs.\nAbout You\nEducation and experience\nYou have a Master Degree in Electrical/Computer/Control Engineering, with explicit focus on programming, Hardware In the Loop Testing and Control Systems Engineering.\nYou are fluent in English (C1 and above certification) both listening and reading.\nIt is preferable you have at least 2-3 years of experience in similar position.\nSkills and knowledge\nKnowledge of kinematics and dynamics of rigid bodies\n\nAvionic sensors and actuators technology\n\nKnowledge of real/no-real time test environment (for Hardware In the Loop HIL Testing)\n\nSW or hybrid (HW/SW) simulators\n\nMatlab/Simulink programming\n\nC/C++ programming\n\nKnowledge of ESA technical standard\n\nData Handling Hardware (On Board Computer, Remote Terminal Unit, GNSS receiver, microprocessors)\n\nTechnical experience about understanding of the Avionic requirements of a Satellite is plus\n\nTechnical experience on Avionic EGSE elements and development on Spacecraft simulator is plus\n\nAble to work with instruments of laboratory oscilloscope, multimeter, protocol analyser\n\nAble to work on own and in team in an international environment\n\nAble to cope with a workload pressures\n\nKnowledge of quality process and procedures\n\nPersonal ability\nCustomer focused, proactive attitude\n\nOrganized and methodical approach to the work with strong communication skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks at one time, to work autonomously and in team\n\nStrong attitude to achieve results within time and cost constraints\n\nProblem solving attitude\n\nAt Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
