To reinforce its commitment to localising its defence activities and to build a future we can trust in the Kingdom, Thales established SAMI Thales Electronic Systems (STES), a Joint Venture with Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), operating under the ambitious directives outlined in Vision 2030.JOB OBJECTIVE\nSupport, maintain, and secure the IT infrastructure of the card personalization facility (servers, network, data center, workstations, and production systems), ensuring high availability and full compliance with PCI Card Production security requirements and Payment Scheme rules.\nROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvide first- and second-level support for servers, network devices, workstations, printers, and production[1]\nInstall, configure, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms, storage, and backup systems.\nManage network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, VLANs), maintaining segmentation between the card production network and the corporate network.\nApply security patches and updates within the defined SLAs and maintain system hardening standards.\nRun vulnerability scans, review findings, and follow up on mitigation according to the remediation SLA.\nManage user accounts and access rights (Active Directory)\nMonitor systems, logs, and alerts, and escalate and document security incidents immediately.\nMaintain backups and test restore procedures regularly.\nMaintain asset inventory, network diagrams, and configuration documentation.\nSupport data center operations: environmental monitoring, cabling, and access logs.\nCoordinate with vendors and suppliers for hardware, warranty, and support.\nSupport internal and external audits (PCI, Payment Schemes, ISO) by providing evidence and closing findings.\nWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support.\nExperience in a PCI, banking, or secure manufacturing environment is a strong plus.\nHands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing), and firewalls.\nQUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or equivalent.\nCertifications preferred: CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Security+\nPREFERRED SKILLS\nKnowledge of PCI CP, or ISO 27001 requirements.\nFamiliarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backup solutions, and monitoring tools.\nVulnerability management and patching experience.\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and attention to detail.\nGood English and Arabic communication skills.\nIntegrity, security awareness, and teamwork.\nAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
