The Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing and maintaining multiple data systems for the AJISS project, as well as safeguarding data accuracy and compliance across the program. This position will provide data coordination support activities for maintaining the Royal Canadian Navy’s DRMIS data Management system, and Thales’ internal maintenance data information tools. The role is accountable for the day-to-day administration, optimization, and integrity of maintenance data, and the ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication and attention to detail skills.\nRegulatory Compliance Requirement\nThis position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access.\nKey Areas of Responsibility\nManage and maintain data entry processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy\nCollect, organize, transcribe and input data into data repositories (SFTP, SharePoint, SAP, IBM Maximo and DRMIS)\nMonitor data quality and perform data audits to identify gaps and correct errors\nDevelop and implement processes and procedures for effective data management\nGenerate reports and metrics/KPI’s to support value added decision making\nEnsure compliance with data security regulations and company policies\nCollect, catalog and distribute data to internal and external customers\nAssist other teams in the development and maintenance of data guidelines\nAnalyze and transcribe Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Support data\nWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams on data related activities\nPerform other duties as assigned by the manager\nMinimum Requirements\n3 years’ experience in data coordination, data management, or data governance\nDiploma in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools\nStrong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities\nBasic understanding of maintenance and service delivery activities considered an asset\nPossess strong organizational and time-management skills\nAbility to work accurately and with excellent attention to detail\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nExperience working within an Engineering or Defense Environment\nProficient at analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SAP or DRMIS\nExperience in the Marine/Naval Industry\nExperience with IBM Maximo\nThe reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $60,000 - $75,000 -$85,000 CAD Annual.\nThis reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many.
