You are also responsible for the respect of embedded software guidelines and principles on the different projects, in line with Thales' processes. You will report to the Head of Software Engineering.\nYour Mission:\nLeadership & Team Management\nLead and manage a team of embedded software engineers and architects, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching.\n\nConduct regular face-to-face to track progress, resolve issues, and encourage collaboration.\n\nFoster a positive and constructive team environment that promotes learning and professional growth.\n\nManage the team capacity and resourcing to support the growth of activities in a sustainable way.\n\nCelebrate successes and foster open communication.\n\nBids & Project delivery\nOversee the estimation and planning of development tasks, and ensure that the team meets project deadlines and delivers high-quality work.\n\nEnsure compliance with Thales' engineering processes, standards, and best practices for software development.\n\nFollow the technology and methodology trends and act as a champion for the evolution in the software development domain.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and the broader organization.\n\nFacilitate effective communication within the team to ensure clarity and alignment of goals.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n\nProven experience in leading embedded software development teams.\n\nStrong technical skills in embedded software development, including experience with C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems, and embedded software development tools.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and strategically.\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse teams.\n\nProven experience
