All applicants must be eligible, or able to obtain authorization, for such access.\nPosition Summary\nThales is looking for an Embedded Technical Consultant who will manage the technical relation with customers of Thales embedded products like eUICC and eSE, and associated solutions.\nThe embedded Technical Consultant will also manage all technical aspects of the eUICC/eSE industrialization and supply process, by coordinating communications between development and manufacturing teams inside Thales and different areas of the customer and taking some project management responsibilities.\nKey Areas of Responsibility\nResponsible for working closely with the regional sales team, and be responsible for technical presentations and pre-sales support.\n\nResponsible for promoting the Thales Connectivity & Embedded Solutions portfolio to customers (mostly MNOs, OEMs and IoT players).\n\nMust understand the customer’s technical requirements and be able to identify possible solutions, based on Thales’s product map.\n\nResponsible for coordinating technical communication between Thales Product Teams and customers.\n\nMust follow-up on incoming customer requirements and feature requests, communicating to all related interface partners.\n\nResponsible for coordinating technical support and tests with customers and different teams inside Thales.\n\nResponsible for raising failure reports, identify a solution or workaround, and internally report defects according to established processes, if needed.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Telecom or related technical field\n\nAt Least 5 years of experience as Technical Account Manager, Technical Product Manager, or similar technical customer facing role.\n\nAt least 5 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably working with Smartcard, Embedded Software or Services providers.\n\nPrior working experience on standards and specifications like ETSI, 3GPP, Global Platform, GSMA and TCA\n\nWorking knowledge of Digital Security: symmetric and asymmetric (PKI) cryptography, telecom security algorithms\n\nDemonstrated experience writing technical specifications and identifying solutions based on customer requirements.\n\nIf you’re excited about working with Thales, but not meeting the requirements for this position, we encourage you to join our Talent Community\nSpecial Position Requirements\nSchedule: Core Business Hours Monday-Friday, Hybrid in office 3 days\nTravel: Estimated required travel approximately once per quarter domestically to customers/ clients as needed.
