In recent years, our innovative solutions in air traffic management systems and telecom satellites have further strengthened our presence in the country alongside our digital portfolio of solutions such as biometrics, data protection and cybersecurity now serving the needs of diverse customers in civil sectors.Key Responsibilities:\nHybrid BI Engineer / Data Engineer / Azure Reporting Developer profile with skills as Software Developer\nDevelopment & Maintenance\nApplication MaintenanceDesign, develop, and maintain SQL-based applications & data pipelines (SSIS, Azure, SQL data Engine, SSAS)\nOptimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.\nImplement C#/Visual Basic solutions for automation and integration.\n\nInfrastructure MaintenanceMonitoring the services availability and performances\nResolving services interruptions or failures\nManagement of the configuration of the application, of the security and user’s habilitation\n\nCollaboration & Agile Practices\nWork in a Scrum team (Jira, Agile methodology) with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.\nParticipate in code reviews (GitLab) and sprint planning.\nTechnical Support & Troubleshooting\nMonitor unattended executions (daily pipelines) and resolve issues.\nEnsure data accuracy across Azure Infrastructure and ITSM tools.\nDocumentation & Knowledge Sharing\nUpdate technical documentation for TIGRE architecture and workflows.\nTrain team members on new features or tools (e.g., DAX, Azure).\nRequirements\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong proficiency in SQL and relational database development.\nHands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).\nStrong experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).\nExperience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.\nStrong knowledge of data modeling and database optimization.\nExperience with Visual Studio development environment.\nExperience with DAX development and advanced Power BI analytics.\nExperience with C# or Visual Basic development.\nExperience using GitLab for source control and CI/CD activities.\nKnowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.\nNice to Have\nFamiliarity with ITSM platforms and service management processes.\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work in a collaborative, Agile environment.\nExcellent communication (English required; French a plus) and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teams.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nContinuous learning mindset and willingness to work across multiple technologies.\nEducation/Experience\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.\n3+ years in software development (SQL, Power BI, Azure), data engineering, business intelligence, or a related role.\nExperience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is a plus.\nExperience working with enterprise-scale reporting and analytics solutions.\nExperience supporting production applications and operational platforms.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.\nExperience working in multinational organizations, collaborating effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds, due to the nature of the work English is mandatory for daily business communication.\nWhy Join Thales?\nWork on a critical monitoring system for Thales Global Services.\nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team (Devs, Product Owners, Scrum Masters).\nAccess to cutting-edge tools (Azure, Power BI, GitLab).\nAt Thales, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
