We're looking for a skilled and motivated Integrated Test Technician to join our Manufacturing team, where you'll play a vital role in testing, fault-finding, and repairing advanced electro-mechanical products.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electronics experience who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and takes pride in delivering quality work.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAs an Integrated Test Technician, you'll be responsible for testing and repairing a range of products in line with product specifications and quality standards. You'll diagnose faults down to component level and ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely.\nKey responsibilities include:\nTesting electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with product requirements\nDiagnosing and repairing faults to component level using schematic diagrams\nCompleting production and repair activities in line with planned schedules and routing times\nAccurately recording documentation and manufacturing data\nEnsuring compliance with quality standards including ISO9001 and AS9100\nFollowing company processes, procedures, and local operating instructions\nSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing practices\nMaintaining a safe, organised, and efficient working environment through 5S principles\nEnsuring test equipment and tooling are available, calibrated, and fit for use\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're seeking someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive and team-focused approach.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nPractical electronics experience within a test, repair, engineering, or manufacturing environment\nProven fault-finding and diagnostic skills to component level\nAbility to read and interpret electronic schematic diagrams\nGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing/ERP systems\nUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles\nStrong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail\nPersonal Qualities\nExcellent communication skills\nPositive, professional, and customer-focused attitude\nStrong team player who values collaboration and respect\nFlexible, adaptable, and motivated approach to work\nAbility to work independently and use initiative when required\nPride in delivering high-quality workmanship\nQualifications\nGood general education\nRelevant experience in electronics fault finding and repair\nWillingness to complete company training, including induction and human factors training, as required\nWhy Join Thales?\nAt Thales, you'll work alongside talented professionals on cutting-edge technology that makes a difference around the world.
