Together, we’re shaping the future by enabling customers to make pivotal decisions that safeguard communities and power progress.We are hiring VVQ Test Engineer responsible for test planning, design, execution, integration, automation, defect management and requirements traceability to ensure software quality, compliance and timely delivery across project testing phases.\n\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyse business, system and software requirements to develop test specifications for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), offline validation, System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing.\nEstablish and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment between requirements and test cases.\nParticipate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including test planning, analysis, design, implementation, execution, monitoring, control and completion.\nCoordinate with external interface stakeholders to plan, execute and validate integration test deliverables.\nPerform verification, validation and qualification activities through manual and automated testing, including test result analysis, defect investigation, retesting and closure.\nMonitor testing progress, track issues and risks, and follow up on outstanding activities to ensure timely delivery.\nPrepare and maintain test documentation, including test cases, execution results, screenshots, logs and supporting evidence.\nCollaborate with software developers, project stakeholders and VVQ team members to resolve issues and improve software quality.\nSupport on-site UAT and other testing activities when required, and provide knowledge sharing or training to fellow test engineers.\nUndertake other testing-related responsibilities as assigned.\nRequirements:\nDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent relevant discipline.\nMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in client-facing activities, system integration testing and/or UAT.\nFamiliarity with SDLC, STLC and software development methodologies, including Waterfall, V-Model and Agile.\nWorking knowledge of testing and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Polarion; API and messaging technologies such as Postman, Bruno, SoapUI, Swagger, REST, JSON, XML and Kafka/Redpanda; and databases such as Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.\nFamiliarity with Kubernetes, Unix/Linux, Windows Server, and productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills, with the ability to manage concurrent testing activities independently.\nExperience with test automation or performance testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon and JMeter is an advantage.\nDemonstrates accountability, adaptability, a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.\nAt Thales, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
