To do so, the Network Engineers work hand in hand with other IS/IT professionals (architects, security engineers …).\nOn a daily basis, the Network Engineers design and implement network configurations, troubleshoot performance issues, carry out network monitoring and configure network systems such as routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure. They have to make sure that operations’ workflow, practices, and server maintenance are working effectively and efficiently to aid the improvement of performance, security system, and availability of systems and dependent ecosystems.\nNetwork Engineers interface with various stakeholders, within the company and throughout IS/IT Function, in order to deliver stakeholders satisfaction by managing capacity and carrying out remote and/or on-site support.\nCOMPETENCIES:\nYou are able to maintain and control computer networks and related computing environments together with structures software, programs software, hardware, and configurations.\nYou can carry out the configuration of network and security infrastructure equipment.\nYou have experience in monitoring network performance by troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and other network and system problems.\nYou have the ability to define the detailed functional behavior of infrastructure building blocks.\nYou have the ability to prevent service interruption, data loss and/or other technical disasters.\nYou have experience in managing complex recovery operations.\nYou can stay value driven, propose smart ideas, be disruptive, take smart risk\nYou have the creativity to lay out smart designs, think out of the box\nYou have the ability to implement new solutions for your users’ satisfaction.\nYou contribute on purchase process in way to describe requirement, analyse & challenge offers and advise on tenderer’s selection.\nYou are able to define a product roadmap and norms & standards\nYou are autonomous, organized, dynamic and can be an actor of change management, promote teamwork\nYou have the strong ability on writing of technical document\nTECHNICAL SKILLS:\nYou can define and implement networking requirements in a variety of production processes.\nYou have good analytic skills and provide a real expertise on level 3 support.\nYou can configure network and security devices and other IT assets like:Firewalls: Juniper, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Stormshield, Checkpoint, L3/L4 Filtering, User-ID, App-ID.\nProxies: zScaler, SSL inspection, WL/BL, URL categorization, web filters, content filter, CAS\nGateway VPN: Cisco Firepower, Any Connect client\nLoad balancer: F5 (LTM, APM), VMware NSX.\nRadius: Cisco ISE PSN, PAN, Dot1.x\n\nYou have a good knowledge on transversal infrastructure and security domain like :Directories: Active Directory, LDAPS.\nIAM: Kerberos, SAML, Single Sign On, MFA, etc.\nPKI: x509 certificate, CMS, AEP.\nCloud computing: SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Infra as Code, and Automation with scripts development (Python/Shell).\nCloud security: Zero Trust Network Access, SASE.\nVirtualized environment (ESX and VMs).\n\nSOFT SKILLS:\nYou have strong communication and documentation skills.\nYou are proactive and self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.\nYou have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative agile environment.\nYou are independent and self-organizing.\nAt Thales, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
