Discover all Thales activities in Belgium here.\nAs PCB Design Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in layout for HF/RF devices in the design of the next-generation of tactical products. Youinvestigate pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, considering contractual specification requirements and cost.\nYour mission\nRealise layouts of complex printed circuit assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, and structures.\nCheck completed printed wiring board layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.\nWork in close collaboration with circuit designer for optimizing layout to meet power and area improvement target.\nResponsible for layout development, validation (DRC/LVS/DFM/EM/IR) and high-quality full-custom layout of analog as well as digital PCBs.\nPerform according to project planning, provide feedback regarding layout to the project leader and organize tasks and priorities autonomously.\nWe are looking forward to\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field\nAt least 3 years of experience in layout design\nThe candidate should be fluent in French, Dutch or English.\nKnowledge and skills\nYou have meaningful qualification in full custom layout design\nUnderstanding of analog HF/RF circuit\nUnderstanding of fabrication techniques and limitations\nExperience with Cadence or similar layout software\nKnowledge and experience of EMI / EMC constraints\nAutonomy\nVersatility and flexibility\nRigorousness, commitment and accountability, ability to take and meet commitments\nTeam spirit, listening and communication skills\nThales is a global technology leader with more than 81,000 employees on five continents.
