Together, we’re shaping the future by enabling customers to make pivotal decisions that safeguard communities and power progress.Responsibilities\nDesign, develop and document solutions to meet customer requirements, whilst ensuring the integrity of the System functional baseline and architecture\nDefine solutions that deliver the best trade-off between requirements, cost, schedule and risk, which meet our customer’s needs\nEnsure the transversal constraints related to the function are considered (Safety, Human Factor, Performance, Security)\nLead the technical reviews, including internal and with the Customer\nLead technical working groups both internally and externally to define technical solution\nProactively participate in PI planning and backlog refinement including contributing to the effort estimation\nPrepare Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Problem Change Requests (PCRs)\nDevelop and manage traceability of requirements using DOORS, including the Functional, Allocated and Product baselines.\nPerform peer reviews of engineering documentation written by other team members\nProactively support your Squad members (software, integration and verification)\nSupport the Product Owner (PO) and Scrum Master (SM)Make recommendations on strategies to improve performance or productivity\nIdentify risks, and proposing effective solution early and executing mitigation actions\nProvide input into the planning and coordination of program integration activities \n\nPromote knowledge sharing ensuring that work is captured sufficiently for re-use across projects\nProvide technical oversight to the Squads within the broader team, ensuring that the designed solution is implemented as per the design and in accordance to the schedule and cost and quality constraints.\nDefine and report on KPIs for the function\nWork in accordance with the defined Thales processes and practices, and contribute to their improvement.\nKnowledge, Skills & Experience\nQualifications\nDegree in Engineering, IT or related discipline\nPostgraduate studies in Systems Engineering (Desirable)\nEssential Experience\nAir Traffic Management in one or more of the following functional areas:Coordination\nSurveillance\nAdaptation/Configuration\nInterpartition/SWIM\nProfile\nHMI\nTower\nSimulation and Training\nSafety Nets/Conflict Detection\nAMAN/DMAN\n\nProven experience in Systems Engineering (7+ years) including; Requirements, Design, Integration and Verification and Validation\nExperience with Systems Engineering Standards eg. ISO/IEC15288\nProven experience in the ATM Domain and related standards eg. ICAO, Eurocontrol\nProven experience in the development of products and projects in a variety of methodologies, with a particular focus on iterative/agile development\nProven experience working in an Agile framework\nExperience with Safety, Security and Human Factors standards and practices\nDemonstrated ability to achieve effective outcomes in a multidiscipline, multi-culture environment\nCoaching and sharing of his/her know-how\nCapability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives\nA positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.\nComfort in facing and managing complexity\nSound judgement and independent decision-making capability where necessary\nExcellent written and oral communication skills in English\nDesirable:\nExperience in System Engineering tools eg. DOORs, Polarian, Jira\nExperience in Model Based Systems Engineering and tools eg.
