Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.
YOUR ROLE
We are recruiting for two Process Engineer opportunities supporting safe, reliable and efficient operations within a major hazard facility. One role operates on a 7/7 rotating roster and the other on standard office hours.
Work closely with the Senior Production Engineer to develop strategic direction and initiate operational improvements
Ensure compliance with all relevant facility policies, systems and processes
Design, develop and use equipment to safely manufacture explosives and quality products for customers
Actively support and assist with the implementation of best practice manufacturing techniques
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Engineering degree in a chemical, process or mechanical disciplines
Chartered professional engineer, or on the pathway to achieving chartership
Demonstrated experience in a major hazard facility, delivering minor projects in line with relevant industry standards
Understanding of production and maintenance management principles, continuous improvement methodologies and project management practices
AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY
A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
