Als het detailontwerp van constructie klaar is, wordt deze als input gebruikt om de uiteindelijke productiestructuren, werkgangen, taaktijden, productiedocumentatie en speciale gereedschappen te maken.\nDaarna wordt de werkplaats begeleid tijdens de productie van de eerste proto systemen. Er wordt altijd een PRR (production readiness review) en FAI (first article inspection) uitgevoerd door de Production Engineer tezamen met alle stakeholders. Op deze manier waarborgen we de kwaliteit van onze producten en daar bijhorende processen.\nVerder is de Production Engineer een technische vraagbaak voor productie en vormt de schakel tussen de Workcells en Engineering. De Production Engineer schrijft ook wijzigingsvoorstellen om tekortkomingen in documentatie of product/proces te verhelpen.\nHet takenpakket gaat over zowel nieuw te ontwikkelen producten als standaardproducten. Ook reparaties en ugprades worden door de Production Engineer begeleidt.
