In this role, the individual will support the team in ensuring the long-term reliability and availability of our customer’s assets by assisting with data acquisition and validating, RAM analysis techniques, reporting, and Reliability software support.\nThe successful candidate will gain:\nPractical experience in reliability engineering within a global organization.\nExposure to real-world projects and multidisciplinary collaboration.\nMentorship from experienced professionals in the field.\nDevelopment of technical and interpersonal skills relevant to reliability and quality engineering careers.\nRegulatory Compliance Requirement\nThis position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access\nKey Areas of Responsibility\nAccountable to the THALES TCDS Reliability Manager, the Reliability Co-op/Intern will:\nAssist in reliability data collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport the development and implementation of reliability test plans and maintenance procedures.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and failure investigation activities, where required.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to reliability improvement initiatives.\nHelp prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders on reliability metrics and project progress.\nMaintain documentation and databases related to reliability metrics and tests.\nPerform general support tasks as assigned by the Reliability Manager and team.\nMinimum Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled in a relevant college or university program (e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Reliability Engineering, or related discipline).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork capabilities.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and work independently with guidance.\nDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.\nPrior knowledge or coursework related to reliability engineering is an asset.\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Previous experience working with a defense contract.\n- Experience supporting an operational military asset.\n- Experience working in or developing Jira Kanban boards.\n- Experience with MS SharePoint.\n- Experience with gathering data using Google and AI tools.\n- Basic understanding of reliability engineering concepts is an asset. \nSpecial Position Requirements \n- Schedule: 40 hours per week\n- Physical Environment: Office\n- Travel: Occasional domestic or international travel may be required, which will include access to government facilities and assets. \n Pay Transparency The anticipated Total Target Compensation (TTC), inclusive of annual salary and bonus eligibility, for this role is $48,000 to 60,000 CAD Annual.
