Together, we’re shaping the future by enabling customers to make pivotal decisions that safeguard communities and power progress.Whom We Are Looking For\nWe are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support large-scale agile delivery in the Air Traffic Management (ATM) domain. The successful candidate will facilitate cross-team collaboration, ensure regulatory compliance in agile delivery, and enable continuous improvement across distributed, safety-critical programs. This role requires both deep agile expertise and domain awareness of aviation systems to balance incremental delivery with operational safety and regulatory obligations.\nResponsibilities :\nLead Scrum ceremonies, Scrum of Scrums, and Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions.\nSupport Agile Release Trains (ART) and/or Solution Trains under SAFe frameworks.\nManage dependencies and cross-team risks in multi-vendor, multi-site environments\nEnsure traceability from backlog items to certification and safety case artefacts\nCollaborate with operational experts (ATCOs, regulators, safety assessors) to incorporate compliance needs.\nMentor Product Owners, engineers and stakeholders on agile practices.\nFoster a culture of psychological safety, transparency, and continuous improvement.\nActively remove impediments and escalate blockers across organizational boundaries.\nSupport CI/CD practices adapted for traceability, re-producibility and regulatory auditability.\nTrack and communicate progress using flow-based metrics (predictability, throughput, lead time).\nFacilitate retrospectives that address not only team performance but also system safety and regulatory outcomes.\nDrive incremental organizational change aligned with enterprise agility.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering, or related field.\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) and/or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM); SAFe RTE a plus.\nAt least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, including at least 2 years in large-scale agile programs.\nExperience in safety-critical or regulated industries (aviation, rail, defense, healthcare).\nKnowledge of ED-109/DO-278A and safety-critical software standards desirable.\nStrong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.\nEssential / Desirable Traits\nPossess learning agility, flexibility and pro-activity\nComfortable with agile teamwork and user engagement\nStrong leadership and change management skills\nMetrics-driven improvement mindset.\nSystems and technical literacy.\nAlign agile delivery with the following aviation standards (ED-109/DO-278a).\nAt Thales, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
