We design and deliver a wide range of products, software and services based on two core technologies: digital identification and data protection.\nWith the massive surge of electronic travel documents and national eID cards, Thales Digital & Security global business unit is supporting border agencies, government authorities and airports to exploit technology convergence to gain consistent, comprehensive border, visa management and document verification worldwide, that will:\nDeliver seamless travel with border control applications\nOffer convenience for travelers for fast and secure border crossing\nImprove border intelligence for detection and prevention, including some of the most disruptive new technologies like biometrics, machine learning, or micro services\nWe are looking for a Security Site Manager within Thales CDI located in Madrid.\nEducation:\nA Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.\nPreferred: Experience or certifications aligned with a CISO profile (CISSP, CISA, CISM)\nProficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is essential.\nTechnical experience:\nProven ability to develop and deploy Crisis Management Plans in international organizations.\nIn-depth understanding of Security Management principles and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) standards.\nA strong grasp of local, national, and international security regulations, including:ISO 27001 implementation.\n ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) frameworks.\n\nExperience conducting audits to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.\nSolid knowledge of IT Security concepts, including:Cybersecurity principles (firewalls, encryption, intrusion prevention).\nNetworking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, etc.).\nThreat analysis and remediation processes.\n\nFamiliarity with physical security measures and integration with IT security.\nStrong knowledge of cloud security frameworks\nUnderstanding of DevSecOps principles and their application to secure software development.\nExperience in developing and maintaining security awareness programs for employees.\nTechnical Skills:\nSIEM systems\nIncident Management Software\nRisk Assessment Tools\nData Loss Prevention Tools\nVulnerability Management Systems\n Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)\n Identity and Access Management (IAM)\nEncryption and PKI solutions.\n Forensics and investigation tools\nFamiliarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to streamline security processes.\nLeadership Skills and Experience:\nExperience in leading cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations.\nProven ability to manage, coach, and mentor team members to achieve their best potential.\nManagement skills with experience delivering security initiatives on time and within budget.\nAbility to influence stakeholders at all levels and build consensus for security strategies.\nTrack record of handling high-pressure situations with composure and effective decision-making.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language.\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, IT security, or a related field.\nExperience working in an international and multicultural environment is a plus.\nWhat Makes You a \"Perfect Match\":\nWe’re not just checking boxes.
