The Engineer/Sr Engineer is in charge of the software development activities (Requirement Capturing, Design, Code and V&V), in order to deliver software that meet requirements coming from a Business Lines (B/L), with the adequate quality and maturity level, within schedule and budget.\nQualifications: Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication or equivalent discipline with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.\nLocation: Thales India Private Limited, Richmond Town, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560025.\nJob Responsibilities:\nAs a Engineer/Sr Engineer, you will be a major actor in the software development phase using approach with C /Embedded C. In more details:\nDevelopment of Application Software with a good understanding of architectures, multi thread program development, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for avionics systems (Flight Display System) as per DO178B/C standards\nDebugging, bug fixing & enhancements on existing Software.\nTo perform Development free hands testing & regression on existing features.\nEnsure quality deliveries before hand-off to Quality Assurance teams for further testing and verification.\nParticipate in an AGILE team involved in the development phases by respecting deadlines and contractual milestones.\nMinimum Skills/Experience:\nEXPERT in Embedded C Programming Language.\nEXPERT in Memory usage & execution time allocation.\nGood understanding of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA)\nCandidate should be Strong in RTRT\nKnowledge in Data Structures.\nGood experience on Cockpit Display and Graphics, Primary Flight Display, Multi-Functional Display, Flight Management System functionality\nKnowledge in DO178B/C is required and Knowledge of Coding standards e.g. MISRA.\nCandidate should be strong in writing System Specification, High Level Requirements & Low Level Requirements. Also Strong in High Level Test & Low level Test definition procedure & hands on experience in verification.\nShould have overall engineering experiences in software development of Avionics embedded system and experience in software Development Life Cycles\nKnowledge in configuration management tool git is required\nKnowledge about avionics protocols (A429, A664 - AFDX, RS232, Arinc653)\nGood organizational abilities.
