Job Description

For more than 35 years, Thales acts in Portugal for global Defense and Aerospace markets and promotes and delivers innovative solutions that enhance its customer’s critical systems´ security, on land, sea, air, space and cyberspace, through a technical team of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and secure Java applications (Java 21);

  • Design scalable and efficient software architectures;

  • Write, execute, and maintain unit tests, troubleshoot and resolve bugs;

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams;

  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar area;

  • Around 5 years of experience with JAVA and Springboot (mandatory);

  • Experience in software development and software engineering;

  • Comfortable with Agile Methodology;

  • Written and Oral proficiency in English.
