Senior Scrum Master – Community Facilitator

JOB OBJECTIVE

As a Senior Scrum Master - Community Facilitator, you will play a key role in fostering Agile excellence across the organization. You will support the Practice Lead in facilitating the Scrum Master Community across the CCoE , coach teams and Scrum Masters, and drive the continuous evolution of Agile practices to improve delivery performance, collaboration, and value creation.

Working closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Base Leads, Engineering teams, and leadership, you will facilitate organizational learning, support Agile transformation initiatives, and ensure consistent adoption of modern delivery practices across multiple teams.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Agile Leadership

Act as a servant leader and role model for Agile values, principles, and practices.

Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams to continuously improve their Agile maturity.

Promote a culture of empowerment, collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning.

Community Facilitation

• Co-Lead with the practice leader and facilitate the Scrum Master Community of Practice.
• Organize regular knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and Agile forums.
• Foster collaboration and cross-team learning across the organization.
• Build and maintain a repository of Agile best practices, standards, and playbooks.

Agile Coaching

• Mentor Scrum Masters in facilitation, coaching, servant leadership, and conflict resolution.
• Support teams in adopting Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices according to their context.

Delivery Excellence

• Support Delivery Leads and Product Owners in improving delivery predictability and team effectiveness.
• Encourage adoption of Agile metrics that drive learning rather than control.
• Promote healthy planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and flow management practices.

Agile Transformation

• Contribute to the organization's Agile transformation roadmap.
• Support the rollout of new Agile frameworks, practices, and tooling.
• Facilitate organizational change initiatives impacting delivery teams.

Agile Metrics & Insights

• Monitor Agile health indicators and team maturity metrics.
• Analyze delivery patterns to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on Agile capability development.

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments with multiple teams.
• Significant experience coaching Agile teams beyond Scrum ceremonies.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile scaling practices.
• Experience facilitating Communities of Practice and organizational improvement initiatives.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and servant leadership capabilities.
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, ICP-ACC, or equivalent certifications are highly valued.
• Experience with Agile management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
