This role will be responsible for:\nOperating and maintaining the supported equipment as directed by the Senior Simulator Technicians or Maintenance Manager\nEnsuring the supported equipment is maintained in accordance with the manufacturers’ guidelines\nCarrying out corrective maintenance and actions as required\nMaintaining tools and test equipment, and ensuring that equipment is in calibration\nMaintaining records and documentation\nEnsuring work is completed in accordance with relevant standards and processes\nActing and undertaking duties as a Self Certifying Maintainer (SCM) when authorised\nUtilising spares and carrying out repairs to ensure that the supported equipment meets contracted availability requirements\nMaintaining a sound working relationship with the customer and other relevant stakeholders\nProactively identifying issues and solutions, keeping the Maintenance Manager informed of progress\nAssisting the Senior Simulator Technicians as required\nYour experience\nIdeally have 1-3 years of experience as a Simulator Technician or related fields\nExperience in a technical workshop or maintenance environment\nAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationships\nSound interpersonal skills - must be a good team player\nDemonstrated self-starter\nExperience with simulation projects preferably in a Defence context\nThis role requires an active NV1 defence security clearance \nAfter you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
