More than 30,000 organizations already rely on us to verify the identities of people and things, grant access to digital services, analyze vast quantities of information and encrypt data to make the connected world more secure.This is a hybrid position in Vancouver, BC\nPosition Summary\nAs a member of a collaborative development team, the Sr. Software Developer will be instrumental in the design and implementation of secure Key Management Platform & SaaS Service.\nEssential Functions\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices in a containerized cloud environment under technical guidance.\nImplement features that support multi-tenancy, high availability, scalability, manageability, and extensibility.\nApply test-driven development practices and automation to improve software quality and reliability.\nDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and technical issues in distributed and multi-threaded applications.\nCollaborate with product owners, architects, senior engineers, QA, DevOps, and support teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.\nBreak down assigned work, provide estimates, and complete development tasks within Agile sprint timelines.\nDevelop software solutions by analyzing system needs, data flows, usage patterns, and work processes.\nCreate and maintain clear technical documentation, diagrams, code comments, and operational notes for assigned features.\nFollow secure coding standards and participate in code reviews to ensure maintainable, reliable, and secure software.\nStay current with relevant cloud, server-side development, database, and security technologies.\nWork closely with customer support and operations teams to investigate production issues and contribute to timely resolution.\nMinimum Requirements\n5-8 yearsof related experience as a software engineer.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nHands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production or production-like environments.\nExperience developing, deploying, or supporting SaaS applications and cloud-native services.\nProgramming experience with Go, C, C++, or similar server-side programming languages.\nExperience designing, developing, or consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.\nExperience developing high-availability database-centric enterprise software using relational databases such as PostgreSQL.\nExperience troubleshooting software, databases, and application performance issues, including blocking and deadlocking scenarios.\nExperience with Linux software development, packaging, testing, release processes, and scripting languages.\nWorking knowledge of security standards or concepts such as PKI, PKCS, or KMIP.\nFamiliarity with databases and schema design concepts.\nStrong problem-solving, written, verbal, and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience or familiarity with Key Management, cryptographic services, or security-focused platform applications.\nWorking knowledge of secure coding practices, security principles, and common application security considerations.\nFamiliarity with cloud provider SDKs and services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nThe anticipated TTC range for this role is 95,825.40 - 127,767.20 - 159,709.00 CAD Annual.
