We are happy to have you on board!\nYour mission as System Test Engineer / IVVQ Engineer (m/f/d) Radar\nYou will be in charge of integration, test, verification and qualification activities of radar systems with focus on RF testing. You work in close cooperation with external and internal partners and customers to provide ambitious solutions addressing the demanding needs in a changing world.\nAct as a counterpart for the technical and project manager regarding IVVQ activities\nDefine test strategies and create test plans for existing as well as new products in development\nDefine, implement and maintain tests verifying the RF related features and performance of radar systems\nDefinition and set-up RF test benches for automatic tests in the engineering department\nDocument test results according to the Thales guidelines and presentation of test results to customers and/or governmental quality bodies\nAsses and improve continuously the test coverage of our systems with focus on digital integration\nProposes work package estimates and descriptions ensuring that compliant solutions at optimum cost are identified\nWe are looking forward to:\nCompleted technical master studies, e.g. in computer science, electronical engineering or comparable professional experience\nProfessional experience in System Testing\nProfessional experience setting-up automatic tests with state-of-the-art measurement devices\nProfessional experience using tools for data analysis (Python)\nWork experience in defense or airspace industry, ideally radar is an advantage\nSolid knowledge in RF testing and measurement devices\nGood understanding of complex systems and ability to abstract\nKnowledge of RF standards such as ITU or Radio Equipment Directive is an advantage\nFamiliarity with requirements management tools is an advantage\nStrong ability to work in a team with colleagues from other disciplines both in a national and international environment\nHigh customer focus\nStructured approach and way of working\nYou are recognized for your pragmatism, commitment and rigor\nVery good German and English skills\nThe Group invests more than €4,5 billion per year in Research & Development in key areas, particularly for critical environments, such as Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum and cloud technologies.\nIn 2025, the Group generated sales of €22.1 billion. \nFor our more than 85,000 employees in 65 countries we open up visionary perspectives, realise individual career paths and enable creative freedom.
