We build software that powers employer-funded coverage and gives employees real control over how they use their benefits.\nWe’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to own broad product surfaces, from concept to production. You’ll build across the frontend and backend systems that power onboarding, benefits management, and payments. This work touches real money and real healthcare decisions. Correctness and reliability matter, but so does making the experience feel simple for the people using it.\nWe organize engineering around the people we serve: members, employers, and partners, so teams own end-to-end experiences and ship with speed and accountability.\nWhat you'll do\nTake ownership of meaningful product areas from idea through production.\nShip quickly, but never at the expense of correctness or long-term maintainability.\nContribute across the stack, from user-facing interfaces to backend services.\nTranslate real user and business needs into clear, pragmatic technical solutions.\nSet and uphold a high bar for code quality, system design, and product polish.\nTake responsibility for production systems, including reliability, debugging, and continuous improvement. \nWhat we are looking for\nExperience building and shipping production web applications across the stack.\nStrong product judgment and comfort working through ambiguity.\nAbility to reason about complex systems and business logic.\nFamiliarity with modern engineering tools and frameworks.\nA track record of ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and good technical decision-making.\nWe hire engineers across multiple levels and care most about the scope you’ve owned, the impact you’ve had, and how you make decisions.\nTools and tech stack\nRuby on Rails for backend systems.\nReact and TailwindCSS for the frontend.\nSmall amounts of Python and backend JavaScript where appropriate. \nPrior Ruby experience is helpful but not required.
