Position Overview
This position is responsible for supporting projects, processes, and initiatives within the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) function. The intern will gain exposure to environmental, health, safety, and regulatory activities while assisting with day-to-day responsibilities and special projects that support organizational objectives.
This internship is based out of Maumee, OH. Housing may be provided for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a foundational understanding of EHS operations, programs, and business practices.
- Support environmental, health, safety, and compliance-related projects and initiatives.
- Assist with collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support EHS programs and objectives.
- Create and maintain reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other documentation related to departmental initiatives.
- Conduct research and summarize findings related to environmental, safety, regulatory, or operational topics.
- Collaborate with team members and business partners to support ongoing projects and continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist with process documentation, audits, inspections, training activities, and program administration as assigned.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives that support departmental goals and priorities.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in EHS-related field, including Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, etc.
- Sophomore standing required; junior standing strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel regionally for business purposes
- 0-2 years’ relevant experience required
