The position leads integration and standardization efforts, quality systems data governance, audit readiness, regulatory support, customer complaint and CAPA activities, and the development of Quality Specialists. The role partners with Operations, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial, and other stakeholders to promote consistent execution and continual improvement of quality and food safety programs.\nKey Responsibilities\nQuality Systems Integration & Standardization\nLead consolidation and harmonization of quality and food safety processes and documentation resulting from recent acquisitions and system integrations\nDrive alignment of site and supplier documentation with corporate requirements, applicable regulations, and customer expectations\n Support standardized procedures and ways of working in Benchmark in partnership with EHS and operational stakeholders\nMulti-Site Quality Leadership\nProvide quality and food safety (QFS) leadership and support for Webb City, Joplin, Monroe, Goldsboro, Shelby, and corporate locations\nServe as a primary quality resource for site leadership regarding regulatory, customer, certification, and corporate program requirements\nSupport implementation and consistent execution of food safety plans, prerequisite programs, specifications, document control, training, and verification activities\nEscalate significant QFS risks and coordinate cross-functional resolution\nAudits & Compliance\nPlan, coordinate, facilitate, and follow up on internal, customer, and third-party audits and assessments\nSupport audit readiness, evidence collection, response development, and timely closure of findings\nParticipate in the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) team, including gap analysis, document review, and alignment with FDA requirements\nMonitor changes in assigned regulatory, certification, and customer requirements and support updates to affected programs and documentation\nCustomer Complaints & CAPA\nSupport investigation, resolution, and response of customer complaints, nonconformances, and QFS concerns\nLead or support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (RCAs/CAPAs)\nTrack assigned actions, verify implementation and effectiveness, and support timely closure\nAnalyze recurring issues and recommend preventive or systemic improvements\nPeople Leadership & Team Management\nProvide direct supervision, coaching, performance management, and professional development for site Quality Specialists\nEstablish priorities, assign work, balance resources, and monitor progress across sites, systems, audits, and quality initiatives\nDevelop team capabilities in quality systems, site documentation, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, complaint investigation, and CAPA execution\nPromote accountability, collaboration, consistent communication, and a culture of food safety and continuous improvement\nProvide backup support for the Corporate Quality Manager and maintain continuity of key quality activities during absences\nProvide backup and cross-functional support for Quality Specialists as business needs require\nCross-Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement\nPartner with Operations, EHS, Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and implement sustainable improvements\nLead or participate in projects that improve compliance, efficiency, data integrity, and consistency across the organization\nCommunicate priorities, risks, progress, and resource needs to the Corporate Quality Manager and affected stakeholders\nWhat is Expected of You and Others at This Level\nCoordinates and supervises the daily activities of a business or technical support or production team\nSets priorities for the team to ensure task completion;
