Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.\nResponsibilities\nLeading resource planning and coordination.\nDeveloping engineering concepts, and articulation to the team.\nWorking as part of a multi-discipline team to deliver project input.\nProject management and ownership of the engineering input into the project.\nAbility to coordinate with different teams, both within The Boring Company and externally.\nLiaising with the client, attending progress meetings and producing reports on progress.\nProviding expert engineering input into design; and evaluation of built environment proposals.\nMonitor construction schedules.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School diploma or GED.\nExperience working with government and local agencies.\n10+ years of experience in the design and/or project management of tunnels.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nAcute attention to detail and strong multitasking skills.\nAbility to quickly and reasonably prioritize tasks.\nStrong communications skills with the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations.\nAn analytical mindset that thrives on formulating strategy and presenting data.\nHighly organized with a strong sense of urgency.\nException leadership abilities.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nStrong team-building skills\nAdditional Requirements\nPosition may require extended hours and weekend work.\nAble to travel for short and extended trips as needed.
