Throughout the process, we expect candidates to demonstrate:\nExceptional mental acuity: you think quickly, learn instantly, and reason across unfamiliar domains.\n\nEngineering curiosity: you naturally dig into how systems work, even outside your specialty.\n\nHigh performance mindset: you move fast, handle ambiguity, and excel when the environment is demanding.\n\n3D Vision Researcher / Engineer\nYou’ll build the 3D perception systems that allow our robots to understand and navigate real-world environments. This role is for someone who can design state-of-the-art 3D vision pipelines from the ground up, combine classical geometry with modern deep learning, and turn research ideas into production-quality systems.\nRequirements\nVery strong coding skills in Python and/or C++.\n\nExperience with PyTorch and CUDA, including custom operators, optimized data pipelines, or model acceleration.\n\nExperience building 3D vision systems from scratch - not just using off-the-shelf libraries.\n\nStrong understanding of different sensor modalities (e.g., cameras, IMUs, wheel odometry, LiDAR, etc.), including their measurement models, calibration procedures, temporal synchronization, and noise characterization.\n\nDeep domain expertise in at least two of the following areas:\nMulti-view geometry, bundle adjustment, pose graph optimization, visual-inertial odometry.\n\nDense 3D reconstruction, novel-view synthesis (NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, etc.).\n\nTraining depth estimation, optical flow, or feature matching networks.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and build end-to-end 3D perception systems for real-world robotic environments.\n\nDevelop geometric vision pipelines-SLAM, reconstruction, tracking-and integrate them with learned models.\n\nImplement and optimize deep learning models for depth, flow, correspondence, and 3D understanding.\n\nPrototype rapidly, measure performance in realistic conditions, and iterate to production-quality solutions.\n\nCollaborate closely with robotics, simulation, and platform teams to integrate 3D perception into the full stack.\n\nMove quickly and independently to solve hard 3D vision and geometry problems.\n\nWhy Join\nYou’ll work with a small, elite team on challenges that require speed, intelligence, and deep engineering instinct.
