{"id":3089282,"url":"https://alion.io/job/the-buffalo-brewing-company-quality-systems-coordinator","title":"Quality Systems Coordinator","company":{"id":4461268,"name":"The Buffalo Brewing Company","domain":"buffalo.co.zw","url":"https://alion.io/company/the-buffalo-brewing-company","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":null,"truth_index":null},"role":"Administrative","role_family":"Administrative","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Harare, Zimbabwe"],"countries":["ZW"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":7500,"max_usd":15500,"period":"year","method":null,"sample_n":15479},"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"CAPA","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-22T11:54:00Z","employer_posted_date":null,"last_verified_at":"2026-10-22T11:54:00Z","board_verified":false,"closed_at":null,"days_open":13,"trust":{"level":"not_scored","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":13},"description":"Job Description\n A growing Brewing Company is seeking a suitably qualified, competent and results-oriented Quality Systems Coordinator to join its Quality Control Department.\nThe successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the company’s quality management systems, with a particular focus on achieving certification and strengthening compliance with applicable food safety and quality standards.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n Key Responsibilities\n• Coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, policies, procedures and documentation.\n• Lead and coordinate HACCP implementation activities, including hazard analysis, identification of Critical Control Points (CCPs), monitoring procedures and corrective actions.\n• Drive certification readiness through gap assessments, action plans, documentation reviews and coordination of internal and external audits.\n• Coordinate food safety risk assessments, quality audits, inspections and compliance monitoring.\n• Ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, non-conformances and customer complaints.\n• Conduct training and awareness programmes on quality management, food safety and relevant compliance requirements.\n• Monitor quality performance indicators and prepare reports on system effectiveness, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.\n• Work collaboratively with Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain and other departments to embed a strong quality and food safety culture.\n• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory and industry requirements.\n\nQualifications and Experience\n Qualifications and Experience\n• A Master’s degree in Quality Management, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Biotechnology, or a closely related field.\n• Demonstrable experience in implementing, maintaining or coordinating a formal quality management system.\n• Essential: Proven involvement in at least one certification process, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 or another recognised food safety or quality management standard.
