Make history with us.\nBakery Processing Operator\nLocation: Goodyear, Arizona\nShift: 3rd Shift | 10:45 PM - 7:00 AM Monday - Friday\nPay Rate: $22.50/hour + $1.00 Shift Differential\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…\nAs a Bakery Processing Operator, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality bakery products in a safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing environment. You will help ensure production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, sanitation, and operational excellence.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO…\nOperate processing and baking equipment to produce products that meet established quality and food safety standards.\nMix ingredients according to batch sheets and recipes, ensuring accurate weighing and measurement of raw materials.\nMonitor and adjust processing variables, including temperature, moisture, mix times, and product weights.\nInspect products throughout the process and remove improperly formed, overlapped, or non-conforming product.\nPerform equipment start-up, shutdown, changeovers, and basic preventative maintenance activities following established procedures.\nMonitor and document production data, including temperatures, mix times, item numbers, raw material weights, and product specifications.\nIdentify, communicate, and escalate quality concerns to appropriate team members.\nMonitor for potential foreign material contamination and take corrective action when necessary.\nFollow sanitation procedures during cleanups and changeovers, including proper chemical handling practices.\nTrack, manage, and appropriately dispose of production waste.\nMove raw materials using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.\nMaintain adequate raw material inventory levels, unload ingredient trailers, and communicate material needs to appropriate personnel.\nMonitor seasoning application and make adjustments as needed, where applicable.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following established housekeeping and 5S practices.\nFollow all safety, food safety, hygiene, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.\nReport defective equipment, unsafe conditions, and workplace injuries promptly.\nSupport mandatory overtime and perform additional duties as assigned.\nWHO YOU WILL WORK WITH…\nProduction Supervisors and Team Leads\nQuality Assurance Team\nMaintenance Technicians\nSanitation Team\nWarehouse and Material Handling Teams\nFellow Production Operators and Plant Team Members\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nAt least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing, production, food processing, or similar industrial environment.\nAbility to read and follow batch sheets, recipes, work instructions, and production documentation.\nBasic math skills and ability to accurately weigh and measure ingredients and raw materials.\nAbility to operate equipment safely while maintaining quality and productivity standards.\nAbility to work a 3rd shift schedule and support mandatory overtime as needed.\nAbility to safely lift and move materials and work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, humidity, noise, dust, and moving equipment.\nStrong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to food safety and quality standards.\nIT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)\nCertified Production Technician (CPT) certification.\nPrior experience in a bakery, food manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment.\nForklift and/or pallet jack operating experience or certification.\nExperience performing equipment changeovers and basic preventative maintenance activities.\nKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and 5S principles.\nExperience with production monitoring, documentation, and process control systems.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nFrequent use of hands and repetitive motions while operating equipment and handling ingredients.\nAbility to occasionally climb, stoop, and kneel as needed to perform job duties.\nAbility to continuously lift and move materials up to 25 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Heavier lifting may be required with assistance.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment and material handling vehicles.\nRegular exposure to wet and humid conditions and varying temperatures throughout the production process.\nOccasional exposure to heights, airborne particles, sanitation chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions.\nAbility to work in an environment with moderate noise, dust, vibration, and production activity.\nMust be able to safely perform all job duties while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.\nIndividual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
